Solid brass naturally develops patina with handling, moisture, and skin contact. Some people prefer that darker aged character, while others like to keep the brass brighter.

• Wipe dry after wear
• Clean with mild soap and water, then dry thoroughly
• Use a brass-safe polish when you want to restore brightness
• Avoid bleach, harsh cleaners, and abrasive pads
• Store separately from harder metals to help reduce scratching

Gradual color change and softening of the brushed finish are normal characteristics of solid brass.
